The Untamed (2016)

The Untamed is a relationship drama, until it isn’t. It plays with many genres, without committing to any. It has some strong performances, but nothing adds up to a story or a character development that would make total sense. And while there definitely is an allegory in here somewhere, it might be up to interpretation what exactly it is.

This is a good-looking, well-acted film which absolutely no-one really needs to see, and which would at any rate only be suited for those used to bizarre and slow arthouse films.
